- Ensuring fool-proof performance of the deliverable
- Developing, implementing and maintaining dynamic websites and web applications
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Design and implement efficient and reusable PHP components.
- Design, implement and manage websites using WordPress
- Collaborate with members of a creative team
- Manage front-end and back-end website development
- Create WordPress plug-ins and themes
- Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code
- Troubleshoot and resolve website problems for clients and co-workers
- Stay abreast of new developments in software, trends, and practices
Key Skills
- Strong grasp on PHP as a language and knowledge of its quirks & object oriented PHP programming.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems & servers
- Strong experience in Wordpress, Cake PHP, Core PHP, JavaScript / Jquery, MySql
- Hands on object oriented PHP programming
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
